I love this game! I got it on Friday and finished it on Saturday playing on my Amiga 1200. Totally addicted. :-)
I tried to play it on my Amiga 1000 but it would not boot. Are there any known incompatibilities with the 1000?

Does your Amiga 1000 have KS 1.3? Wordz require 1.3
Hi! Yes, it has a Parceiro 2 which has various Kickstarts I can choose from. It doesn’t work with any of them.
Does the game need PAL mode? My 1000 is stuck in NTSC mode unless I use a software program to switch (I have a Rejuvenator installed).
I'm not sure. I only have PAL Amigas. I will see if I can get someone else with NTSC to test it.
Nice looking game, made with lots of love to details however the game lacks any challenge factor. What I would like to see is:
1. Each word gives points when placed on the board. It can be different based on the length.
2. There should be a time limit to place the words on the board. If the player completed the level before the limit was reached, there are bonus points based on how much time was left.
3. If the time limit was reached, the player could decide if the game is over (the score is entered on the high score table) or it can be continued but the timer still runs and every second deducts points (that can result even with negative score).
That way the player always can complete the whole game as it is now but he/she can return to improve the score. Currently there is no reason to come back to the game when completed.
Hey, thanks for these great ideas :) I never intended Wordz to be a challenging game but instead merely a pass-time thing. I love to play word search games on paper when I'm camping or on vacation and there is no challenge to it, just the right amount of difficulty to pass some time. I have a couple other projects in the pipeline but I want to make a more fully fledged word game puzzle (with challenges) later. A mix between Match-3 and Word search. Find words and the letters disappear and new pops up. I played a fun one like that on iPhone a while back.

A nice simple word game to relax in. I've also included it in my new video along with other recently released games. I hope you enjoy it.

This is a sweet little game however I got stuck at level 27/32 using the German language because there is an overlap between the words 'Big' and 'Vorbeiging'
Here is an Screenshot and I marked in red what I think would be the correct path for 'Vorbeiging' but since it shares some letters I wont let me finish it.
Perhaps I am missing something obvious?
As a side note: There is a small cheat in the German version. There are some search terms that contain Umlaut characters and thoose are easy to find because the random characters are never an Umlaut ;)
And some of the search terms are not realy German btw. things like Big, Crew, Vorbeiging and some others. I am happy to help with the translation if you like.

Yes, there seem to be a bug there. "BIG" is twice on the board. If you picked the one to the right of LANGWEILT then VORBEIGING would be solvable. Thank you for letting me know. I will fix!
Nice, I did the workaround and solved it without any other bug. Guess I have to do the English version next :D

i'm having problems in complete stage 4 (English), with the word KNOBBY;
i'm correctly selecting the letters in order, but nothing happens

Can you take a picture of the level as it looks when you attempt to form the word KNOBBY? I just tested the level here myself now and I completed it fine.
